Bucks Housing owns Speen Shop, which we let at a subsidised rent on the condition that the premises are used to provide a Post Office and village store. The net rental proceeds are donated to the village to fund a variety of charitable initiatives.
The Speen Shop Charity will provide financial assistance for any useful, non-commercial purpose, which either satisfies an individual need or is of benefit to the Speen community. Applications should be able to demonstrate a clear educational, medical, social or community need.

The Speen Shop Charities Committee meets four times a year (in early March, June, September and December). Applications should be received by the end of the preceding month and will be considered at the meeting following its receipt. Applicants will be notified in writing of the outcome.
